Abu Lahab was a fierce enemy of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) who was condemned by name in the Quran (Surah Al-Masad). His end was a painful and humiliating death from a plague-like disease shortly after the Battle of Badr, which was seen as a direct divine punishment for his relentless opposition to Islam.
